**Job Title: Commercial Electrician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in commercial buildings, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
+ Diagnose and resolve electrical issues by inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
+ Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
+ Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment, including using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout procedures.
+ Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, maintenance logs, and inventory of electrical supplies and equipment.
+ Work closely with other tradespeople, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects and effective communication of electrical needs and issues.
+ Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with electrical services provided.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in electrical systems, conduit bending, wiring, and construction.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to pull wire.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial electrician.
+ High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or technical school is preferred.
+ Valid electrician's license and any other required certifications.
+ Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and electrical codes.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Work Environment**
Work on commercial construction projects with a team-oriented culture. Standard working hours are from 7am to 4pm, with some overtime depending on the project. The dress code requires appropriate attire for a construction environment. Tools and equipment necessary for the job will be provided.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
