Compensation: $20 CAD per hour
Job Summary:
The Brand Ambassador represents Jeeter in retail environments, community events, and consumer‑facing activations. This role brings the brand to life through education, compliant product storytelling, and relationship‑building with retail partners and budtenders. The Brand Ambassador supports sales and marketing objectives within assigned territories and acts as a knowledgeable, professional representative of the brand.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Represent Jeeter at retail locations and events within assigned territories.
- Provide in‑store services including demos, budtender education, and Customer Appreciation Days (CADs).
- Engage consumers and budtenders in compliant, informative conversations about Jeeter products.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Jeeter's product portfolio and communicate product attributes accurately and responsibly.
- Support product sell‑through by providing education and brand presence during activations.
- Deliver budtender training sessions in collaboration with retail partners.
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure brand materials are current and properly displayed.
- Capture photo/video content for internal marketing use or approved brand channels, in compliance with the Cannabis Act and privacy laws.
- Collect store‑level insights, traffic observations, and market intelligence to support sales and marketing strategy.
- Audit marketing collateral and ensure materials are stocked and compliant.
- Coordinate with external vendors as needed, including logistics and documentation.
- Process and track invoices and support monthly accrual reporting.
- Perform additional marketing tasks as assigned by management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of cannabis products, formats, and responsible use.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Social media literacy and ability to create content within legal guidelines.
- Basic computer proficiency for reporting and documentation.
- Positive, energetic, and solutions‑oriented mindset.
- Must meet the minimum legal age for cannabis employment in the province of work.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ year experience in brand ambassadorship, events, or customer‑facing roles.
- Experience in the cannabis or liquor industry preferred.
- Experience with retail or event‑based activations preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required for event setup and merchandising.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate retail/event environments.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory; travel time and mileage reimbursed per company policy.
Work Schedule:
This is a part‑time hourly position (~15 hours/week). Typical schedule is Wednesday–Friday, with occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays based on business needs. Schedule changes will follow applicable provincial employment standards, including minimum daily pay requirements and notice of schedule changes where applicable.
