Position Summary
Leumas Residential is seeking a motivated and people-focused team member to raise funds that support families who need help relocating. Funds raised will help cover moving costs, security deposits, rental application fees, and other housing-related expenses.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute fundraising campaigns to help families with moving expenses and rental costs.
- Research and secure grant opportunities from foundations, companies, and government programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, churches, and community partners.
- Prepare grant applications and donor letters.
- Prepare reports showing funds raised and impact made.
- Create and maintain fundraising budgets.
- Cultivate, steward, and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate, sponsors, faith-based partners, and community stakeholders.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of successful fundraising experience, nonprofit work, grant writing, or donor relations required.
- Proven ability to meet or contribute to achieving fundraising goals.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, reporting, and time-management skills.
- Experience with community base outreach and event planning.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
