Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Closer - Support to join our team in the Denver Metro area. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the seamless processing and closing of loans within a credit union setting. This is a long-term contract position, offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: - Review loan applications and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. - Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to facilitate the loan closing process. - Prepare and finalize loan closing packages, ensuring all required documents are complete and accurate. - Utilize Encompass and other loan origination systems to manage and track loan progress. - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to loan closings. - Verify compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. - Identify and address any discrepancies in loan files prior to closing. - Maintain detailed records of loan transactions and ensure proper documentation for audits. - Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency in loan operations. Requirements - Proven experience in mortgage closing, loan processing, or a related role. - Familiarity with loan origination systems such as Encompass. - Strong understanding of mortgage processes and regulatory requirements. - Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in documentation. - Effective communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. - A proactive and solution-oriented mindset to address challenges efficiently.
