**Job Description:** **Compensation Rate** **$23.25 per hour + Benefits** Must reside in 50-mile radius. Analyst III will be given requests for data, reports, or analysis with the expectation of understanding the business need, identifying the source of the data, validating the output, and presenting the information to the users in a manner that is relevant to them. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Develop data analysis methods for requests + Gain working knowledge of business processes + Identify systematic sources of data + Create reports, analysis, or graphs that accurately represent the data to the requestor in a usable format + Create technical documentation for SOX compliance + Document work instructions for use of developed reports + Establish, review, and maintain timelines + Communicate status to upper management and internal customers + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** **QUALIFICATIONS:** + 2 or 4 year degree or equivalent experience with emphasis in CIS, Database Management / Modeling, Mathematics, or related field + Strong consideration for candidates with database, data analysis, and reporting software experience + Knowledge of developmental software languages (Visual Basic, SQL, or others) + Ability to find solutions to challenging problems + Experience in process analysis and development a plus + Deadline oriented and ability to work under stressful situations + Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks + Ability to determine procedures and methods to be used to garner expected results + Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing job responsibilities + Must be able to learn processes quickly, break process down into logical divisions, and recognize opportunity for improvements. + Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated. + Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, as well as upper-level management. + Must be able to build relationships and leverage resources. **Time Type:** Full time **Job Type:** Regular **Job Family Group:** Distrib & Matls Mgmt **Location Region/State:** Missouri **EEO Statement:** Scholastic is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
