Maintenance Technician
Non-exempt/Hourly (Eligible for overtime)
Starting pay is $25 - $32 DOE

About the Position:
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician (full-time, first shift) to join our team. This individual will work independently on preventative and corrective maintenance tasks for our fabrication facility while also working on special projects, product installations and warranties, and routine building and grounds maintenance.
Requirements of the Role:
- 2-year maintenance degree with 3+ years of maintenance experience within a similar environment, or 5+ years of maintenance experience
- Experience should include repair of diesel and mobile equipment & fabrication equipment including brake press, plasma torch, welding machines & wire feeders, manual lathe and mill, & radial arm drill
- Print reading experience mechanical, electrical and hydraulic
- Experience with hydraulic & electrical systems (low voltage and high voltage)
- Willing and able to occasionally travel domestically and internationally for product installations and warranties, which requires the ability to fly and drive, stringent background checks to enter various countries, and the ability to meet vaccination requirements of travel locations
- Familiarity with OSHA and MSHA regulations, MSHA training provided by company
- Field service experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation & management of a preventative maintenance schedule for equipment & machinery
- Carry out preventative maintenance schedule on diesel and mobile equipment and fabrication equipment
- Complete required maintenance documentation including daily inspections
- Perform electrical maintenance up to 3 phase, high voltage training is a plus
- Fabrication of electrical control boxes for various equipment including Water Tanks, Rear Ejects, etc.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical needs for PHIL products to interface with off-highway trucks
- Following a work order system, prioritizes and performs corrective maintenance
- Complete building & grounds maintenance on the fabrication facility, neighboring office building & campus
- Work on special maintenance projects
- Perform material handling operations as needed (training available)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department
- Arrive to work early in the wintertime to clear parking lots of snow as needed
- Travel to assist with product installations and warranty work, with a focus in hydraulics & equipment plumbing
