Responsible for managing the plant and production activities to achieve the established production volumes, production costs, product quality, food safety and employee safety goals of the plant. This includes responsibility for ensuring all products are produced in accordance to the established specifications, quality, bills of material, and standard operating procedures.
This position has supervision and responsibility for all shifts activities including: food safety, product quality, production volumes, waste reduction and efficiency goals.
Must be able to effectively communicate, motivate and supervise others.
