If you enjoy working with your hands, staying active, and being a part of a team, this could be a great fit for you. **What You'll Do:** + Run machines like spot welders, presses, and shearers to help build our sheet metal products. + Move and handle sheet metal parts, loading them onto machines or stacking them as needed. + Clean, grind, and scrape metal to get it ready for welding, painting, or shipping. + Check parts to make sure they're made right, sometimes using blueprints or instructions. + Pick up leftover scrap and keep your workspace, tools, and equipment clean. **If You Have Experience, You Might Also:** + Fine-tune metal parts with tools like hammers and grinders. + Plan out which steps to do first on a project. + Set up machines (press brakes, plasma cutters, drills, saws, etc.) + Build templates or fixtures that help with the sheet metal work. **What You Need:** + High school diploma or GED is great. + Having 1-3 years of experience in a similar job is helpful but not required. + A combination of any experience or education works too. **Physical Stuff to Know:** + You'll spend a lot of time on your feet, standing, walking, stretching, bending, or lifting. + You'll regularly need to lift up to 50 pounds, and once in a while, up to 100 pounds. + Good eyesight is important for this work. \#cb #p1 As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
