**Engineering Technician**
**Location:** Mount Pleasant, WI
**Employment Type:** Direct Hire
**Shifts Available:** 2nd & 3rd Shift
**Pay Rate:** $24-28/hour (based on experience)
**Job Summary**
We are seeking an **Engineering Technician** to support electronics manufacturing operations by optimizing test processes, supporting new product introductions (NPI), and maintaining advanced test equipment. This role works closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure efficient, reliable testing of PCBA products in a high?volume manufacturing environment.

**Responsibilities**
+ Develop, implement, and maintain test environments and procedures for **PCBA products**
+ Manage and optimize **SMT production line test capacity** and utilization
+ Program, maintain, and troubleshoot testing equipment such as **ICT, Flying Probe, X?ray (AXI), and functional test systems**
+ Perform **failure analysis** , identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
+ Monitor and improve **test station performance metrics** (yield, throughput, downtime, etc.)
+ Provide **technical training** to operators and technicians on test equipment and procedures
+ Lead and support **New Product Introduction (NPI)** validation, pilot, and ramp?up activities
+ Coordinate and support **preventive maintenance programs** for test equipment
+ Troubleshoot test?related issues to support daily production needs
+ Participate in **PFMEA activities** and continuous improvement initiatives
+ Document procedures and support standardization across test operations
**Qualifications**
+ Associate's degree in **Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field** preferred
+ **2-3 years of experience** in PCBA manufacturing and electronics testing
+ Hands?on experience with **SMT processes** and advanced test systems strongly preferred
+ Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including **standing for extended periods** and lifting up to **25 pounds**
+ Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast?paced production setting
