Job Description
Job Title: Data Center Construction Project Scheduler Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale datacenter construction projects at our San Antonio location. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring project milestones are met, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. Responsibilities + Develop and oversee the implementation of detailed project plans, including timelines and resource requirements. + Manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, procurement, and construction to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time. + Monitor project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues. + Work with clients to understand their needs and ensure project outcomes meet their expectations. + Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. + Continuously improve project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness. + Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that each project meets its objectives and is delivered on time. + Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders. + Facilitate Interactive Planning Sessions (IPS) with discipline leads, vendors, and clients to define the project critical path and continue to analyze and report throughout the project. + Comply with relevant owner policies and procedures and work within legal and regulatory frameworks. Essential Skills + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and manage one's time. + Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project. + Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods. + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. + 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis. + 8+ years of experience as a planner and/or scheduler utilizing scheduling software P6 or MS Project. + Experience with Data Center construction programs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proven track record of delivering large-scale datacenter construction projects on time and to the satisfaction of clients. + Understanding of Project Planning, Earned Value Management, and Key Commodity Tracking. + Ability to analyze EPC plans/schedule and provide insights into trends, issues, and mitigations. + Experience in managing teams and working collaboratively with cross-functional groups. + Familiarity with Critical Path Methodology (CPM) scheduling methodology. + Ability to present data from detailed to high-level depending on the audience. Work Environment This position is onsite in San Antonio. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week. Equipment such as a laptop, mouse, and headset will be provided by the supplier, while safety boots must be supplied by the candidate. The client will provide a vest and hard hat. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
