WORKSITE: VA Puget Sound Health Care System (Seattle VAMC), 1660 S Columbian Way, Seattle, WA 98108
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
PAY RATE: $53.00 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Administer therapeutic radiation treatment to 15–25 patients daily
Schedule patients to optimize treatment time and accommodate emergencies
Operate Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, including Onboard Imaging and CBCT
Perform warm-up and safety checks on treatment machines, report issues outside approved parameters
Apply imaging and treatment techniques including MV, KV, CBCT, Electron, 3D CRT, IMRT, and VMAT SRBT/SRS
Utilize SGRT systems (preferably VisionRT) for simulations and breath hold treatments
Conduct CT treatment planning and create patient-specific immobilization devices
Deliver prescribed therapeutic radiation doses and ensure treatment consent is obtained
Maintain accurate patient records using ARIA EMR and radiation treatment charts
Assist patients with safe transfers using proper aids
Administer contrast materials per protocol
Capture port/verification films and comply with Seattle VAMC PPE and vaccination rules
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program in Therapeutic Radiologic Technology
ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy with at least 2 years of experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Military Training Network
Minimum 3 years of experience with:
Varian TrueBeam systems
Therapeutic radiation treatment for cancer
3D CRT, IMRT, IGRT techniques
ARIA EMR system
Client CT Simulator (or equivalent)
Unrestricted license to practice Radiation Therapy or Medical Dosimetry in any U.S. state, territory, or D.C.
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Prior VA experience is preferred and considered more favorable
