Job Title: Part-Time Cook Evening Shift

Location: Terrace Grove Assisted Living, Logan, Utah

Position Summary: A skilled Part-Time Cook will assist in the preparation and serving of meals for our residents for the morning shift. The ideal candidate will be be enthusiastic, possess a helpful nature, have experience in cooking for large groups, and demonstrate creativity and flexibility in menu planning.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook nutritious and delicious meals for residents.
• Ensure that all meals are prepared in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.

Qualifications:

• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to facilitate teamwork.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proven experience as a Cook in a similar setting, preferably in an Assisted Living or healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Strong cooking skills and the ability to prepare a variety of dishes from scratch.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Current food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.
