Your role as a CUSTOMER Service support/Processor

As a Customer Service Support/Processor at Christian Community Credit Union, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the member experience through skilled discernment and proactive engagement. Your responsibility will include processing online applications and validating identities while providing insightful education on CCCU products and services. Utilizing your product knowledge, you will help members select the best account types tailored to their unique needs.

Collaboration is key; you will promote team participation both within your department and across the organization. Furthermore, you will resolve issues by clarifying concerns, researching solutions, and communicating effectively with members through various channels, ensuring quality customer service and a commitment to problem-solving that embodies our core values.

Requirements for this CUSTOMER Service SUPPORT/Processor job

To thrive as a Customer Service Support/Processor at Christian Community Credit Union, candidates must bring a diverse set of skills essential for delivering outstanding customer service and clerical support. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of two years of customer service experience and at least one year of clerical work experience. Proficiency in word processing, preferably Microsoft Word, and spreadsheets, such as Excel, is crucial for effectively managing tasks.

Familiarity with banking processes and knowledge of credit union products and services will set you apart. Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are necessary to ensure accuracy in all tasks. Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with good telephone techniques, will enhance your interactions with members. Additionally, good math aptitude and accurate typing skills at a minimum of 25 words per minute are required to support the various functions of the role effectively. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum two years of customer service experience required
  • Minimum one year of clerical work experience required
  • Knowledge of word processing (Word preferred) and spreadsheets (Excel preferred)
  • Banking experience & knowledge of credit union products and services preferred
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats with individuals
  • Good telephone techniques: strong, confident, friendly voice with good diction
  • Good math aptitude & accurate typing skills at 25 wpm
