Role Overview
We're looking for a Recruiting Operations Analyst to support and improve how we attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent. You'll be at the center of our recruiting engine-streamlining systems, coordinating candidate experiences, and helping ensure our hiring processes run smoothly from start to finish.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-heavy, people-centric environment and is motivated to help scale recruiting at a dynamic, high-growth firm.
This 5-day-a-week in-office position is location in New York City.
Responsibilities
- Manage and refine recruiting workflows-owning all interview scheduling, communications, and systems that keep the process efficient and scalable.
- Serve as a primary contact for candidates, ensuring professional, timely, and thoughtful communication throughout their hiring experience.
- Partner closely with the head of talent acquisition to collaborate on interview plans, feedback collection, and hiring timelines-helping keep all stakeholders aligned.
- Monitor key recruiting metrics and generate reports that provide visibility into funnel health and opportunities for improvement.
- Bring ideas and insights to improve how we operate, from tech stack utilization to documentation and automation.
- Ensure that every interaction with a candidate reinforces Aquarian's values, professionalism, and brand identity.
- Thinking about the big picture - frequently stepping back to determine how you can systemize processes and categorize people for the benefit of your team and the entire organization
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR operations, or a high-paced administrative function
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling many moving pieces
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms (e.g., iSolve, LinkedIn)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to spot trends and suggest process improvements
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within a nimble, fast-evolving team
- Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting in financial services or high-growth environments
- Comfort navigating spreadsheets and light data work (Google Sheets, Excel, etc.)
