Description We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee all financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our financial records. Based in North Hollywood, California, this role requires someone with a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational abilities, and advanced proficiency in QuickBooks. Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure timely updates. - Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy. - Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including timely invoice generation and payment follow-ups. - Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. - Organize and maintain financial records, receipts, and statements for easy access and reference. - Assist in month-end and year-end closings by preparing necessary reports and documentation. - Generate detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. - Collaborate with external accountants or tax professionals to support tax filings and audits. - Ensure compliance with local and organizational financial regulations. - Safeguard sensitive financial information and maintain strict confidentiality. Requirements - A minimum of 4 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. - Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. - Strong understanding of accrual and cash-based accounting methods. - Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP is highly desirable. - Expertise in handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow analysis. - Strong computer skills and experience with accounting software systems.
