What You'll Do
As a Technical Sales Representative for Globe Machine's Industrial Automation and Robotics division, you will lead the sales and solution development of robotic systems tailored for the manufacturing sector. You'll serve as a critical bridge between our customers and engineering teams-consulting, problem-solving, and supporting custom automation solutions from concept through execution.
Globe is located in Tacoma, WA. Candidate should live within a 3-hour drive of Globe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the sales and promotion of robotic automation systems within industrial manufacturing markets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to support ongoing business growth.
- Provide expert technical support throughout the sales process-from initial inquiry through post-installation support.
- Collaborate closely with project manager and engineers to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging automation technologies, industry standards, and competitive trends.
- Develop and present detailed technical proposals and system documentation.
- Travel to client sites, Globe office, and trade shows as needed.

Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of technical sales experience, ideally within the automation, robotics, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software.
- Experience with simulation tools such as RoboGuide or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite and CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot
- Strong writing and communication skills for technical documentation and client presentations.

Travel Requirements
Approximately 25% domestic and international travel to customer sites, Globe's office, and industry trade shows.
All employees of Globe MUST be able to pass a drug test and background check. Our industry is "safety sensitive" and we do require a negative cannabis drug screen as well.
