Job Description

As an Installer you will install Lawrence products on customer sited ensuring quality, safety, deadline and customer expectations are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistency of awning, canopies, frames or other LFMS products per the LFMS standard procedures
  • Review CAD drawings and identify hardware necessary to complete installation
  • Assist PM department & perform measurements for projects as needed
  • Complete field surveys as needed
  • Ability to professionally apply paint and touch up on hardware after installation
  • Follow engineering requirements as specified on drawing
  • Fit fabric over frames and staple or adhere to frames before leaving LFMS.
  • Load materials safely onto truck and trailer per DOT regulations
  • Complete custom installation/anchoring tasks as needed including performing basic electrical work, welding, caulking and carpentry skills onsite
  • Ensure safety measures are in place and used at all times
  • Ensure that trucks and trailers are well maintained
  • Ability to read and interpret a company job ticket and identify issues prior to product leaving LFMS shop. Perform quality control of finished product to job ticket and drawing before leaving shop.
  • Communicate effectively with Plant Manager and Project Managers on each job for scheduling purposes, due dates and issue resolution
  • Promote coordination with PM, Welding, Paint, Sewing and Completion departments
  • Must be or become DOT certified and retain that certification
  • Complete OSHA 30 training
  • Team player with hard work ethic and motivated attitude

There is a background check and drug screening after acceptance of position and prior to starting.
