Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, and supporting month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in accounting systems and a commitment to maintaining integrity in all financial operations. Responsibilities: - Process and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions with accuracy and efficiency. - Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with bank statements. - Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial data. - Prepare and post journal entries to support daily accounting operations. - Assist in month-end close processes, including reconciliation and reporting. - Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform daily tasks. - Analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions. - Support audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. - Monitor and improve processes for better efficiency and accuracy. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) management. - Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and maintaining general ledger integrity. - Strong knowledge of journal entry preparation and month-end close procedures. - Familiarity with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. - Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies effectively. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external auditors. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
