The VIP Lounge Bottle Runner is responsible for assisting with the efficient, accurate, and elegant delivery of bottle service orders to VIP guests in a high-end lounge or nightclub setting. This role plays a key part in enhancing the guest experience by ensuring timely bottle delivery, maintaining presentation standards, and supporting VIP service staff to deliver a luxurious and personalized experience.
Deliver bottle service orders from the bar to VIP tables quickly and professionally.
Ensure correct presentation of bottles, mixers, glassware, ice buckets, and garnishes according to lounge standards.
Set up and maintain bottle displays, ensuring branding and presentation meet premium service expectations.
Assist servers and VIP hosts with table preparation and staging before bottle delivery.
Provide discreet, attentive service to high-profile guests without disrupting their experience.
Refill mixers, ice, and garnishes as needed throughout service.
Anticipate guest needs and communicate with VIP servers or hosts to ensure seamless service.
Handle any guest requests professionally and with urgency.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in bottle service areas, including prep stations and service trays.
Communicate any issues with bottle availability, substitutions, or guest concerns to management promptly.
Assist with inventory checks and restocking of VIP beverage supplies before, during, and after service.
Uphold all liquor laws and company alcohol service policies (e.g., checking IDs, monitoring consumption if required).
Follow all safety and hygiene standards for handling beverages, glassware, and service equipment.
Ensure compliance with local liquor laws and venue policies.
Maintain awareness of surroundings to support guest safety, crowd control, and service flow.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a nightclub, lounge, or bottle service environment (required or strongly preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment with a professional and polished appearance.
Strong multitasking and coordination abilities.
Physically fit and able to lift and carry trays or bottle buckets (up to 30 lbs).
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in your location.
Flexible schedule with availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.
TIPS, RAMP, or Responsible Beverage Service certification (preferred or required by local law).
Must maintain grooming and dress standards as set by venue management.
