In this fast\-paced, real\-world environment, you'll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep these exquisite capabilities protected\. **The Work:** We are looking for an individual to act as the Classified Cyber Security Technologist to join our team's efforts in supporting and defending classified networks\. The chosen candidate will act as the Subject Matter Expert \(SME\) related to the technology and tools in place and used by the Classified Cyber Security team supporting Department of Defense \(DoD\) programs\. Duties include providing hands on technical assistance for complex systems/networks, cyber technology development/implementation, assessing threats/vulnerabilities, and supporting customer needs \(meetings, calls, emails, demonstrations, etc\.\)\. An ideal and successful candidate for this position has proven experience working both independently and as part of a team, is an accomplished cyber security practitioner, is experienced in both the Collateral and Special Access Program \(SAP\) environments\. A successful candidate will work effectively throughout the Lockheed Martin organization\. Additional duties and responsibilities of this role include: - Participate in planning and implementation of current and future security domains including those which may introduce new service areas \(i\.e\., Cloud Computing, DevSecOps, etc\.\)\. - Planning, implementing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the program data, systems, and networks\. - Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls\. - Troubleshooting technical security and network problems\. - Leads system and/or network security breach response - Participating in the change management process\. - Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities\. - Coordinate activities with the ISSM and IT lead to ensure systems are secure and technically ready for inspection\. - Identifying requirements for verification and validation, creates, understands, and updates system design and architecture\. - Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and programs\. - Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization\.
