Self-Direction DSP - Liverpool Area (Job #GC-JC)

Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a delightful young boy with a developmental disability. In this role, you will provide respite care mainly at the child's home. He loves being outside and therefore, you will go on walks around the neighborhood and sit outside to enjoy nature with him. You will also be required to monitor his comfort level and may need to move him in and out of his wheelchair. The ideal candidate will be a warm, caring and reliable individual who enjoys spending time outdoors and with children.

Related experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or children preferred but not required. Please respond with a resume or summary of experience.

Hours and days of work:

Monday-Friday 12:00 pm- 3:00 pm throughout the summer months. Days and hours would vary throughout the school year.

Payrate: $23.00/hr

Location: Liverpool, NY

Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
