**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** **Description:** **_Position Purpose:_** The Crisis Nurse provides services to persons experiencing crisis and in need of immediate intervention. This position job responsibilities between three programs: Walk-In Crisis Unit, Central Recovery Center (CRC), and Adult Diversion and Stabilization (A-DAS). By assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care tailored to each patient's unique needs, you will contribute to the stabilization and recovery of those in crisis. **_What you will do:_** + Completes medical triage and assessment + Case Management + Medication administration including the administration of long-acting injection medications + Being able to distinguish between emergent/urgent needs and ongoing clinical work + Medication Reconciliation with physicians and pharmacists. + Completes documentation in electronic medical records and utilization of varied electronic portals as needed. + Scheduling and tracking consumer appointments + Provides medication education **_Minimum Qualifications:_** + Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing **AND** a minimum of one (1) year of paid behavioral health care experience **_OR_** a Registered Nurse **AND** a minimum of two (2) years of paid behavioral health care experience. + Current RN License from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required. + Valid Driver's License required. + Pre-employment physical/TB + Pre-employment drug screening, Act 33/34/73 clearances **_Position Highlights and Benefits:_** + Benefits start Day 1 of employment! + Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 403B, PTO, Paid Holiday Days, and more!! **_WORK SCHEDULE:_** _This is a full-time non-exempt position (37.5 hours/week)_ Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 6:30p-7a **_About Pittsburgh Mercy_** : We're a community-based health and human services organization using person-centered care to treat our area's most vulnerable populations.
