Description Robert Half is partnering with a highly respected local law firm in the Greater Seattle Area to identify a Legal assistant who is ready to IMMEDIATELY jump in and assist their team. This position is contract with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role. Responsibilities: + Prepare and file legal documents electronically, ensuring compliance with court requirements and deadlines. + Conduct legal research to support litigation strategies and case preparation. + Manage case calendars and deadlines, coordinating schedules to meet critical milestones. + Organize and review medical records and chronologies for case analysis. + Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to support litigation processes. + Assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, evidence, and legal documentation. Requirements + Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant (plaintiff experience a HUGE plus). + Must have experience e-filing in WA, reviewing medical records, and have a strong knowledge of legal research methodologies.
