Job Description

Join a Purpose-Driven Team in a Fast-Paced, Supportive Environment!

De Mott, Curtright & Armendáriz, LLP is a stable and mission-driven immigration law firm with a strong presence across Texas and we're looking for a bright, compassionate, and career-minded Associate Attorney to join our team in San Antonio, Texas.

Our work is fast-paced and emotionally impactful, but we believe that meaningful advocacy can happen in a collaborative, energizing environment. If you're an attorney who thrives in a space where sharp minds meet full hearts-and where client stories truly matter-you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate closely with a team of attorneys and legal support staff who genuinely have each other's backs.

  • Develop case strategies and manage diverse immigration matters from start to finish.

  • Handle family-based petitions, waivers, consular processing, and removal defense.

  • Draft legal documents including motions, briefs, and responses to NOIDs and RFEs.

  • Prepare clients for court and USCIS interviews; attend hearings and interviews as needed.

  • Conduct detailed legal research and maintain timely communication with clients.

  • Keep accurate case files and notes using our client management system.

What We're Looking For:

  • Juris Doctor and active bar admission (any state)

  • Fluent in Spanish-our clients' stories are told in many languages

  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills

  • Ethical, motivated, and able to thrive in a team-oriented setting

  • Immigration law experience highly preferred, especially in family-based and deportation defense

  • Previous case management experience a plus

Why You'll Love It Here:

  • We're serious about the mission, but we know how to support each other through the highs and lows.

  • A place where your work has real impact-every single day.

  • We work hard but know how to keep it collaborative, curious, and caffeinated.

  • Genuine camaraderie because this work is intense, and you shouldn't do it alone.

Perks & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary that reflects your experience and dedication

  • 100% employer-paid health insurance

  • Group dental and vision plans available

  • Employer-paid life and long-term disability insurance

  • 401(k) with 100% employer match

  • Generous paid time off and holidays

  • Ongoing mentorship, training, and real growth opportunities
