As the Activities/Life Enrichment Director, you will:
Design and implement a vibrant, inclusive calendar of events that promote emotional, physical, spiritual, and cognitive well-being
Plan everything from live entertainment and exercise sessions to art workshops, sensory activities, movie nights, and special events
Foster community connections through volunteer programs and intergenerational engagement
Tailor activities based on resident preferences and abilities, including those in memory care
Capture and share resident joy via our social media channels
Coordinate transportation for off-site excursions
Lead Resident Council meetings and encourage family involvement
Motivate and inspire fellow team members to participate in the FUN
Manage activity budgets and ensure resources are used effectively
Oversee and train volunteers, and support holiday and seasonal event planning
You are:

Tech-savvy, with the ability to use current technology and social media platforms
A team player who thrives in a collaborative, customer-focused environment
Comfortable with flexible responsibilities and able to pivot with changing needs
Requirements:
Minimum age 19
Valid driver's license
1+ year experience conducting group activities (preferably in a long-term care or geriatric setting)
Experience supervising staff or volunteers preferred
Preferred Qualifications (But Not Required):
Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)
Bachelor's degree in recreational therapy or related field
Two years' experience in recreational services within a healthcare setting
Completion of a qualifying course in recreational services
