**Description** **General Summary** Maintains, repairs and overhauls engine driven generators and associated auto-start and transfer switch gear. Operates, maintains, repairs and modifies aircraft arresting barriers in strict accordance with technical orders and local directives. **Job Requirement Mandatory: (Job Related experience, education, training skills, knowledge and abilities)** - Class E Florida Drivers License - Must have five years experience on engine driven generators and switch gear - Must be aircraft arresting system qualified with a minimum of three years experience - Flight Line Driving Permit (to be obtained upon hiring) - National Agency Check Clearance - Ability to read, write, speak and understand American English - Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as well in a team environment - Ability to understand and have working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warnings **Job Requirements Preferred:** - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - High school graduate or equivalent **Work Environment** Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor work is subject to extreme temperatures, noise, inclement weather conditions, and other conditions determined by the nature of the job.
