Boone Supported Living is seeking multiple full time Professional Managers to oversee ISL homes in Columbia/Jefferson City. We prefer someone with management experience and experience with the MR/DD population. This is a working supervisor position so you will work alongside your subordinates daily. The position requires training, coaching, and evaluating employees, strong written and verbal communication skills, and assisting intellectually disabled individuals with all areas of daily activity. Must be caring, reliable, and able to think on their feet.
This is a salaried position with a routine schedule of 44 hours per week (40 hours of direct care and 4 hours of administrative time). All direct care hours worked beyond 44 hours per week will be paid as a bonus.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Supervise and oversee training for all Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on assigned caseload.
- Participate as the primary member of the habilitation team for each individual on assigned caseload.
- Complete all required documentation as assigned and within the appropriate timeline.
- Observe, report and record changes in the physical condition, behavioral response and emotional status of each individual served; prepare and/or supervise the preparation of necessary records and reports; implement, conduct and supervise planned habilitation activities.
- Provide all necessary supports while demonstrating respect and dignity of the individual served by interacting in a positive, person-centered manner.
- Responsible for being accessible via cell phone to staff to assist with all issues regarding individuals served during normal operating hours and must be available via cell phone for weekly on-call duties as assigned.
- Cell phone reimbursement will be included in earnings package.
- Ensure all adequate supplies, including necessary forms, are at the worksite
- Actively participate in personnel management tasks such as performance reviews and corrective action.
- Ensure the worksite and program remains in an inspection-ready state at all times.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position may require the exertion of up to 50 pounds of force or more on a regular basis to support the individual receiving care or to move objects; work requires fingering, grasping, and repetitive motions; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing written or computer data, operation of machines, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities; the worker is not subject to adverse environmental conditions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business or human services (can be substituted with management experience)
- 1-year management experience
- 1-year experience working with individuals with IDD
- Obtain and maintain current certifications for the DSP position.
- A valid driver's license and good driving record, as well as proof of current auto insurance is required. This position requires driving for business and transportation of individuals served. Must pass all required federal, state and agency required background checks. Pass, CPR, First Aid Training and Medication Administration. Must maintain cell phone access for on call responsibilities.
