Wage rate $27.50/hour. **Your responsibilities will include** + Lead a team of 10-15 employees to deliver daily Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost goals in their respective area + Develop team by providing training and feedback as necessary + Maintain a safe and organized work area, ensuring unsafe conditions and actions are addressed or relayed to the proper help chain + Make appropriate work assignments through manpower scheduling, overtime coordination, vacation sign up, etc. + Perform various audits on area assigned (LPA, 5S, SWI) and address identified gaps + Assist in the continuous improvement effort by driving and coaching our teams in Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery along with other Lean initiatives + Engage in honest, open and factual communications in a professional manner + Record, analyze and report daily results (AY ,FPY, Scrap, Breakdown) + Daily Kronos activities + Lead WCM activities in area (floor team meetings, 5S events) + Perform all quality checks as required by area + Other duties as assigned **Minimum requirements** + Consistently demonstrates the Whirlpool Values + Willingness to be hands on, learn assembly jobs + Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize issues and tasks + Strong interpersonal & communication skills + Have a strong desire for personal and professional development + Basic computer skills - Google Suite (Sheet, Doc, Slides and Form) + Ability to do root cause problem solving + Ability to make decisions under pressure **Preferred skills and experiences** + WCM (World Class Manufacturing) tool usage and knowledge + Strong computer skills including data analysis and chart creation + 6 months of manufacturing work experience + 1+ years of consistent work experience **Why should you apply?** + Up to 40+ hours of paid training + Up to 120 hours of paid time off (prorated based on start date) + Medical, dental, vision, 401k and other benefits available immediately + We offer manufacturing careers + Tuition reimbursement + Apprenticeships Connect with us and learn more about Whirlpool Corporation See what it's like to work at Whirlpool by visiting Whirlpool Careers (http://www.whirlpoolcareers.com/) .
