Position Overview

Leading Edge is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our before and after-school programs, with an immediate need for morning coverage at Rose Tree Elementary.

This role is ideal for someone who is consistently available in the mornings and interested in picking up additional afternoon hours across nearby school sites.

Morning Hours (Required – Rose Tree Elementary):
6:50 am – 8:45 am, Monday through Friday

Optional Afternoon Hours (Additional Opportunities):
3:15 pm – 6:00 pm at nearby Media-area schools

Pay Range: $16–$18 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily program activities and supervise students
• Assist with homework help and enrichment activities
• Maintain program quality in alignment with company and state standards
• Communicate professionally with families and school staff
• Ensure student safety and proper ratios at all times
• Create a positive, structured, and engaging environment

Requirements

• At least 1 year of childcare or education experience preferred
• Ability to pass all required PA background clearances
• Must be available Monday–Friday mornings (6:50 am – 8:45 am)
• Reliable transportation (ability to travel locally for optional shifts)
• Strong communication and professionalism
