**Manufacturing Associate/Machine Operator - Otay Mesa - $18/hr-$20/hr - 1st Shift & 2nd Shit**
**Job Description**
As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including trimming excess rubber, checking parts for defects, painting grooves in parts with glue using small brushes, and engaging in molding processes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate multiple manufacturing machines
+ Trim excess rubber from manufactured parts.
+ Inspect parts to ensure they are free of defects.
+ Apply glue to grooves in parts using small brushes.
+ Participate in molding processes.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with small parts handling.
+ Proficiency with hand tools.
+ General production and labor skills.
+ Ability to operate machinery.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Six months of manufacturing experience is preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.

**Work Environment**
This role is based in a large open manufacturing setting with shifts that include 67 people on the first shift, 40 people on the second shift, and 5 people on the third shift. The facility includes a machine shop, molding, and bonding areas, as well as warehouse spaces. Safety and cleanliness are prioritized, ensuring a pleasant work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
