Franklin Park at Greenbelt Station is seeking a Resident Account Specialist (officially titled Accounting & Collections Specialist) to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for posting rent payments, maintaining accurate resident ledgers, managing delinquencies and collections, and assisting residents with billing questions. If you have experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or property management accounting and enjoy working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment, we want to hear from you!

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile rent payments, fees, and resident charges
• Maintain accurate resident account ledgers and prepare monthly financial reports
• Contact residents regarding delinquent balances and arrange payment plans
• Process move-out account statements and security deposit dispositions
• Respond to resident questions about billing, charges, and payment history
• Provide excellent customer service while supporting overall property financial performance

🎯 Desired Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in accounting a plus)
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
• Weekend availability required
• Prior customer service experience a must!
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) encouraged
