**Job Title: Production Supervisor** **Job Description** The Production Supervisor leads a manufacturing work center with full ownership of its appearance, performance, and functionality. This role ensures that production starts on time with the correct materials, staffing, and priorities in place while driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The Production Supervisor actively works alongside the team on the production floor, uses visual management and performance metrics to guide decisions, and partners closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and sustain high standards. **Responsibilities** + Take full ownership of the appearance, performance, and functionality of the assigned work center. + Ensure production starts on time each day with the correct materials, staffing levels, and priorities in place. + Lead daily team meetings and Gemba walks at the metrics board to review prior-day performance, current-day plans, safety, 5S, and continuous improvement ideas. + Identify performance gaps, develop corrective actions, and follow through to ensure measurable results. + Lead and sustain lean and continuous improvement initiatives within the work center. + Maintain and update visual systems such as Kanban boards, production schedules, and performance boards. + Use insights from Value Stream Mapping to drive process and workflow improvements. + Train, mentor, and coach operators to meet and exceed operational and quality standards. + Support performance management activities, including performance reviews, attendance tracking, and corrective actions in partnership with Manufacturing Leadership. + Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Safety, and other support teams to quickly resolve production, equipment, and quality issues. + Clearly communicate labor needs, including shortages or excess staffing, in a timely and proactive manner. + Escalate issues appropriately and professionally when standards are not being met. + Spend at least 25% of working time on the production floor performing hands-on production tasks alongside the team. + Track, update, and communicate daily performance metrics, including safety, quality, output, efficiency, 5S, and training progress. + Promote and model a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all activities. **Essential Skills** + Experience leading or supervising teams in a manufacturing environment. + Demonstrated production supervision and operations management skills. + Comfort working hands-on in production while simultaneously leading and directing others. + Strong communication skills with the ability to coach, provide feedback, and hold team members accountable. + Ability to work in and around chemicals, including latex, biocides, enzymes, and fungicides. + Proven commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. + Ability to track, update, and communicate daily performance metrics related to safety, quality, output, efficiency, 5S, and training. + Experience with safety practices and continuous improvement methodologies. + Experience driving process improvement and participating in kaizen or similar improvement activities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with lean manufacturing practices and tools. + Background in lean, kaizen, or continuous improvement leadership. + Experience tracking and using performance metrics to drive action and decision-making. + Familiarity with chemical or other regulated manufacturing environments. + Experience working with visual management tools such as Kanban, production schedules, and performance boards. + Exposure to Value Stream Mapping and its application to process improvement. **Why Work Here?** You will join a company that values innovative products, continuous improvement, and the belief that great results come from inspired and well-supported teams. The role requires spending a significant portion of time on the production floor in a hands-on capacity, collaborating closely with operators and support teams. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization through 5S and visual management practices, and supports a structured, metrics-driven approach to daily operations. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Thornton, CO. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $89440.00 - $110000.00/yr.
