Job Description

Summary:
As a Salesman at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing client relationships and
ensuring their heavy-duty truck, trailer and equipment needs are met with efficiency and
reliability. This role involves coordinating with clients to tailor solutions that optimize their
operations, while also managing contracts and addressing any service issues promptly. You will need
a deep understanding of the heavy- duty truck market, we provide expert advice to help clients make
informed decisions. This role also collaborates with our maintenance team to ensure our customer
service is top notch. Our goal is to deliver exceptional service and maintain our reputation as the
leading provider in the industry.


Essential Duties
• Develop comprehensive target lists within the assigned territory and aggressively pursue
creditworthy prospects.
• Initiate contact with new prospects through email campaigns, telemarketing, networking, and
cold calls.
• Establish and expand sales within the established territory
• Formulate tailored recommendations and specifications for potential clients.
• Craft and present compelling sales proposals for all product lines, including Trucks, Trailer
and equipment.
• Maintain ongoing responsibility for providing exceptional customer service to clients.
• Submit required reports, such as Weekly Plans and Sales Call Summaries, to the Sales Manager.
• Engage in extensive local and statewide travel to meet with clients and prospects.
• Complete account contracts and handle all associated paperwork efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the sales team and company objectives.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of related experience in Heavy Duty Truck or Trailers
• Comfortable with cold call solicitation
• Must be resourceful and results oriented
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, effective time management and strong
analytical skills are a must
• Familiar with heavy truck specifications including legal, performance, and application
criteria are a plus
• Maintain a Valid Driver's License and ability to pass our insurance requirements
• Detail oriented, organized, determined, ambitious and a team player
• Must have strong work ethic and commitment to extra hours when needed

Work Environment:
This position requires the use of office equipment and to sit/drive in a vehicle for extended
periods. In addition, the position requires extensive local state travel. Potentially as much as
100% office time in the beginning and/or 100% travel time in the beginning. Ultimately equaling out
at 10% Office 90% Outside Sales once training is completed
