United Trades of America is seeking **Flaggers** to join our team in **Metairie, LA**. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety-conscious and ready to work in dynamic environments. Flaggers play a critical role in directing traffic, ensuring the safety of workers, drivers, and pedestrians around construction and maintenance zones.

**Key Responsibilities:**
Direct and manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians safely around construction sites using hand signals, signs, and other communication methods.
Maintain clear and effective communication with other crew members, drivers, and pedestrians to ensure safe passage through work zones.
* Prioritize the safety of the public and construction team by following strict safety guidelines and regulations.
Be vigilant and proactive in identifying any potential hazards or unsafe conditions and report them promptly.
Work in various weather conditions and adjust traffic patterns as needed.

**Qualifications:**

Prior experience as a flagger or in traffic control is preferred but not required. Training may be provided for the right candidate.
A flagger certification is a plus, but not mandatory. Candidates must be willing to undergo any necessary training or certification.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and react quickly in high-traffic situations.
* Must be able to pass a **background check** and **drug testing**.
Good verbal communication skills to give clear instructions to drivers and crew members.
