Manufacturing Engineer
Shift Options:
+ Sun-Weds 6am - 4:30pm
+ Weds-Sat 6am - 4:30pm
+ Sun-Weds 5pm-3:30am
+ Weds-Sat 5pm-3:30am
In this role you will play a critical role in building, testing, qualifying, and producing next-generation spacecraft. This position involves applying innovative solutions and advanced technologies to solve complex manufacturing and engineering challenges at both the system and component levels.
Responsibilities
+ Act as the primary technical contact for production issues, resolving disturbances and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
+ Manage defective materials for engineering evaluation and determine appropriate corrective actions.
+ Update and modify shop orders to maintain continuous production flow.
+ Create and enhance troubleshooting documentation for production test hardware.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in low-rate manufacturing environments and new product introduction.
+ Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
+ Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques (e.g., Fishbone, Fault Tree, DMAIC).
+ Strong analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
+ Background in electrical system design, metrology, and mechanical failure analysis.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $66.70 - $66.70/hr.
