Job Description
**About the Role** We are looking for a Manager of Transformation to join our Finance Transformation Management Office (TMO). As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in leading and driving the evolution of our financial processes and systems in a fast-growing and changing environment. This person will drive the execution of transformational projects by applying their finance and systems expertise, collaborating with partners across the organization, and defining business processes that improve automation, standardization, and simplicity. You will serve as a core member of our EPM Optimization Strike Team, ensuring our stabilization efforts are effective, high-quality, and aligned with our transition toward a standardized, driver-based planning model. **What You'll Do:** + Drive Strategic Execution: Support the finance transformation team responsible for modernizing our finance processes and systems, specifically within the Oracle EPM ecosystem + Strengthen Team Effectiveness: Act as a core member of the cross-functional Strike Team, ensuring that system enhancements for Allocations, Headcount, and FX are delivered with high reliability and business accuracy + Modernize Planning Models: Support end-to-end projects that transition manual, offline-intensive workflows toward integrated, driver-based technology solutions + Enhance Logic Transparency: Collaborate with FinTech and StratFin to implement Allocation Explainability and streamlined logic, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility into financial outputs + Project Leadership & Governance: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for the stabilization roadmap and navigate the program's governance layers to resolve design escalations + Continuous Improvement: Lead workshops and perform root cause analyses to resolve process friction and implement preventive controls that ensure long-term system stability + Technical Partnership: Work closely with FinTech and Engineering to align on vision, project timelines, and system capabilities + Change Advocacy: Drive change management efforts by effectively communicating the objectives and benefits of finance transformation initiatives to partners at all levels + Ensure Operational Readiness: Validate that new process flows and system requirements are fully operationalized and that the business is prepared for successful adoption. **Basic Qualifications:** + 5+ years in finance transformation, management consulting, corporate finance, or a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects and driving process improvements + Bachelor's Degree **Preferred Qualifications:** + Education: BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering + Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with FP&A software solutions such as Oracle EPM, HFM, or DRM + Process Design: Experience transitioning organizations toward standardized, scalable forecasting models + Collaborative Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders in a high-growth environment + Analytical Skills: Outstanding business insight, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills + AI & Automation: Familiarity with Generative AI applications (e.g., LLMs, prompt engineering) to drive efficiency in financial analysis, trend identification, or executive summaries For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$146,000 per year - USD$162,000 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$162,000 per year - USD$180,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$162,000 per year - USD$180,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
