Teaching Assistant – Before & After School Program at South Amboy Elementary

Pay Rate: $17/hour

Join Our Team at Leading Edge Before and After School!

We're hiring dependable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support our program at South Amboy Elementary. Ideal candidates will have the ability to work both morning and afternoons, Monday - Friday. 

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday Split Shift
• Mornings - 7:00 am - 8:30 am 
• Afternoons - 2:10 pm - 6:00 pm  

What You'll Do:

• Assist with implementing daily enrichment activities
• Supervise students during play, snack time, and transitions
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all children
• Support Lead Teachers and Program Directors as needed

Who We're Looking For:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School diploma required
• Experience with groups of children
• Reliable, communicative, and enthusiastic about working with kids
• Able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
