Description We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join a non-profit healthcare organization in Wilmington, Delaware. This is a short-term contract position, ideal for a detail-oriented individual who can deliver excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming environment. The role requires a proactive individual capable of managing front desk operations efficiently. Responsibilities: - Greet visitors and ensure a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. - Answer incoming calls using a multi-line phone system and direct them to the appropriate personnel. - Manage a switchboard handling up to 10 phone lines. - Accept and process incoming packages while maintaining accurate records. - Provide assistance to visitors and staff by addressing inquiries promptly. - Ensure the reception area remains tidy and organized at all times. - Monitor and manage daily administrative tasks related to front desk operations. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in receptionist or front desk roles. - Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and switchboards. - Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with visitors and staff. - Adept at answering inbound calls and redirecting them effectively. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a busy environment. - Previous experience in a part-time receptionist role is a plus. - Familiarity with administrative processes and basic organizational skills.
