Job Description

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Full-Time Human Service Worker (Female Only) at our Vantage Point North Center in American Fork, Utah, earning $16.49-$20.90/hour. In this onsite role, you'll make a meaningful impact supporting adolescents (ages 12-17) in short-term crisis care. As a key member of the Vantage Point North team, you'll provide structure, guidance, and direct support to youth navigating behavioral, emotional, and safety challenges. This fast-paced position is a great opportunity to build your skills in behavior intervention while helping teens stabilize, grow, and succeed-both during their stay and beyond.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM
Compensation: $16.49–$20.90 DOE

What You'll Do as a Human Service Worker

  • Provide compassionate support and supervision to program participants
  • Facilitate structured activities, skills groups, and daily routines
  • Assist with crisis intervention and maintain a safe environment
  • Document client interactions, progress, and observations accurately
  • Collaborate with therapists, supervisors, and other team members
  • Model positive behavior and healthy coping strategies

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm, patient, and grounded during challenging situations
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Experience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not required
  • Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standards
  • Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase
