General Description:
Faxon Firearms is seeking a dynamic and organized Recruiter to join our team. This position is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle across all departments, helping to identify, attract, and onboard top talent. As a key member of our growing team, you will work directly with hiring managers to ensure staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Reports to: CEO
Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and job offers
• Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies
• Coordinate interview scheduling and communication with candidates and internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Build a pipeline of qualified candidates through networking, referrals, and sourcing strategies
• Represent the company at job fairs and recruitment events.
• Support new hire onboarding by coordinating orientation and pre-employment documentation
• Collaborate with HR and leadership on employee retention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies.
• Track and report on recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill and candidate experience
• Other duties as assigned

• Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition in machining or manufacturing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple open roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with ATS platforms and HR software
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
