Become a Business Development Manager with Tribute Home Care and help set a new standard in elder care - right in your own community.

Make a difference - Find meaning - Lead - Collaborate - Grow - Have a voice - Laugh - Love your team

Are you craving a business development role that goes beyond sales? A role where your work truly makes a difference - in your community and in people's lives? If you thrive in the field, love connecting with people, and want a flexible, hybrid role that offers meaning and growth, this could be the perfect fit.

Tribute Home Care's Maryland team is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who loves initiating and building relationships in a mission-driven environment. If you're entrepreneurial, growth-focused, and energized by helping others, this role offers the fulfillment and purpose you are looking for.

About Tribute

Tribute is a growing private home care company with a clear mission: to bring love, visit after visit, to those who need care and the remarkable people who provide it.

We deliver what families want most-warm, consistent, and highly skilled caregivers who show up with heart. Our office team supports these caregivers with ongoing training, encouragement, and a strong community built on respect and appreciation. We believe elder care can be more connected, more human, and more joyful-and we work every day to make that vision a reality.

A Day in the Life

As a Business Development Manager, you'll build strong relationships with professional referral sources such as assisted living communities, geriatric care managers, hospices, rehab centers, and others who support older adults.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and managing relationships with referral partners across Baltimore, Howard, Carroll, Harford, and Anne Arundel counties
  • Creating and executing outreach plans to expand Tribute's presence in the region
  • Presenting Tribute's unique approach to care in a compelling, personal way
  • Attending networking events and joining local associations
  • Conducting research and continuously developing new opportunities for relationships with professionals who support older adults
  • Collaborating with teams across Tribute-Client Solutions, Marketing, Caregiver Hiring, Scheduling, and Caregiver Support

This is a dynamic, hybrid role, involving regular travel within the Baltimore metro area. Success will come from your creativity, determination, and ability to build strong, lasting relationships.

Here's what the ideal candidate will bring to Tribute:

  • 3+ years of experience in outside sales or business development
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding growth goals
  • A proactive approach and sense of urgency
  • Persistence and resilience when facing challenges and overcoming objections
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for helping others and connecting people with exceptional care
  • A driver's license and the ability to travel as needed
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college

Here's what you can expect from Tribute:

  • A competitive compensation package, with significant commission based incentives
  • A great work environment: mission- and quality-driven, informal, fun, collaborative
  • A service you will be proud to represent to the community. Tribute's Net Promoter Score is consistently above 75%.
  • Autonomy and flexibility
  • Growth opportunities
  • Unlimited paid time off
  • Flexibility to work from home when not in the field
  • Paid mileage for work-related travel
  • Medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance
  • A 401K Retirement Plan
