Utah Community Action is seeking to hire Call Center Advocate. We were recently awarded Best of State 2022 for Best Public Preschool and the Best Charitable Service Organization! Our Call Center Advocate earns a competitive wage of $18.80/hour. This full-time social services position with our nonprofit typically works 8 am - 4:30 pm or 8:30 am - 5 pm. The work location is in Rose Park, Utah.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CALL CENTER ADVOCATE
As the first touchpoint of the agency, the Call Center Advocate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and advocating for clients using a trauma-informed, client-centered approach. Responsible for answering incoming agency calls and returning voicemails, educating clients about all six Utah Community Action programs & eligibility requirements, conducting initial client screenings, processing applications & gathering documentation, scheduling appointments, and streamlining access to applicable programs. Also responsible for referrals to other community resources to support client needs.
