**Job Title: HVAC Technician**
**Job Description**
The HVAC Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, compressors, and chillers. This role involves the removal and washing of coils, changing filters, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing all system issues.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain and repair HVAC systems, compressors, and chillers.
+ Remove and wash coils.
+ Change filters regularly.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on systems to ensure optimal functioning.
+ Troubleshoot and repair any system issues as they arise.
+ Work on compressors and chillers as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with HVAC systems and equipment.
+ Preventive maintenance skills.
+ Troubleshooting abilities.
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience with HVAC systems.
+ Knowledge of refrigeration equipment and compressors.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Must have at least 2 years of experience with commercial or industrial units; residential experience will also be considered.
+ Must have EPA universal certification.
+ 1st class steam engineer license is a plus but not required.
**Work Environment**
The position is within a food-grade manufacturing facility, working both indoors and outdoors. The role requires navigating stairs or ladders to access outdoor conveyors. Employees must wear steel toe boots and comfortable clothing suitable for dirty work environments. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with minimal overtime unless breakdowns occur.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $33.00/hr.
