Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Frisco, Texas. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring seamless accounting operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in a variety of accounting tools and software. Responsibilities: - Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. - Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions and resolve discrepancies. - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and timeliness. - Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records. - Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to track and manage financial activities. - Assist with month-end closing procedures to produce timely and accurate financial reports. - Handle payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines. - Input data efficiently and accurately, maintaining organized financial records. - Collaborate with other departments to support financial reporting and analysis. - Ensure adherence to established accounting policies and procedures. Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting roles. - Strong proficiency in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. - Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and BRIX accounting software - MUST HAVE - Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes and month-end closing procedures. - Solid knowledge of payroll processing and compliance requirements. - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
