Pay: $25–$34 per hour (based on experience)

Location: Little Canada, MN

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

We are hiring an experienced Small Engine / Outdoor Power Equipment Technician to support service operations at our Little Canada location. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines and compact equipment, including brands such as Bobcat, Toro, STIHL, and similar equipment lines.

This is a great fit for someone who prefers a consistent weekday schedule, works well independently, and values a clean, organized shop with strong parts and leadership support.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Diagnose and repair small engines and compact equipment (mowers, blowers, compact construction equipment, etc.)
• Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled service work
• Inspect equipment and verify repairs prior to returning to service
• Document work performed, including labor, parts, and service notes
• Communicate repair status and timelines with service leadership
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Order parts and assist with inventory as needed
• Participate in ongoing technical training (including occasional travel)

What We're Looking For:

• Prior experience as a small engine mechanic, equipment technician, or similar role
• Familiarity with compact equipment (Bobcat or similar brands preferred)
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues
• Comfortable using computer systems for diagnostics and work orders
• Self-directed with strong time management skills
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and work in a shop environment
• Valid driver's license
• Own set of tools (tool allowance provided to grow collection)
