Description We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Receptionist to support a detail-oriented office environment. This is a Contract position with the potential to convert to a long-term opportunity, ideal for someone who excels in a highly visible front-desk role and enjoys creating a welcoming experience for employees, guests, and executives. The right candidate brings strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a hospitality-minded approach to daily interactions. You will serve as a key point of contact for the workplace, helping ensure the reception area runs smoothly and reflects a high standard of workplace presentation. Responsibilities: - Welcome employees, visitors, and vendors with a courteous and attentive approach that creates a positive first impression. - Manage front desk coverage throughout the workday, ensuring the reception area remains consistently staffed and responsive. - Answer incoming calls, respond to routine questions, and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments or personnel. - Provide clear guidance to guests by offering directions, check-in support, and general information about the office environment. - Maintain an orderly, well-presented, and guest-ready lobby and reception space that aligns with workplace expectations. - Coordinate with facilities and other internal teams to address visitor needs, workplace requests, and day-to-day operational matters. - Support meeting and workplace logistics by assisting with reservations, visitor coordination, and related administrative tasks. - Use strong judgment and proactive problem-solving to resolve issues quickly while preserving a high level of client service. Requirements - 3-5 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, administrative support, or hospitality-focused position is strongly preferred. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with executives, employees, and guests. - A business-casual presentation and a customer-first mindset suited to an executive-facing environment. - Proven ability to stay organized, prioritize multiple tasks, and remain composed in a fast-paced setting. - Experience handling inbound calls, visitor check-in, and general reception duties with accuracy and care. - Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, outgoing style that helps build positive connections with clients and colleagues. - Basic computer proficiency and comfort using workplace systems for communication, scheduling, and administrative support.
