PURPOSE:

· Under the direction of the Director of Rehab, the Physical Therapy Clinical Lead oversees and provides support to PTs, PTAs and PT Techs in all clinical matters within the OSG PT Fairfield location. He/she acts as a liaison between the Fairfield PT clinical staff and other departments at OSG.

KEY RESULTS:

· Builds/maintains a clinically successful platform, providing high-quality of care to all patients

· Develops a team of clinical staff to ensure sustainable success

KEY ACTIVITIES:

· Acts as a liaison between OSG physicians and OSG clinicians to address any treatment concerns

· With the support of the Director of Rehabilitation, assists in the hiring and onboarding of new clinicians

· Provides ongoing training to new and existing clinicians to ensure consistent clinical practices

· Schedules onsite continuing education, including monthly physician in-services

· Provides clinical feedback to the Director of Rehabilitation for staff performance reviews

· Supports clinical needs for PT Reception including, but not limited to:

o Obtaining updated PT orders

o Providing approval for outside PT orders

o Inputting weekly clinical statistics

· Manages call outs, and provides assistance with coverage, as needed

· Provides assistance to the Director of Rehabilitation with the Medicare audit bucket, as needed

· Supports other clinical areas of the Rehab Department, as necessary

REPORTS TO:

· Director of Rehabilitation
