Job Description
Description We are looking for a part-time Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations for a multi-site organization in Addison, Texas. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing transactional accounting work with administrative support in a steady, fast-moving environment. The position is part-time, working approximately three days per week, and will contribute to accurate payment processing, recordkeeping, payroll assistance, and general coordination across several locations. Responsibilities: - Manage a high volume of accounts payable and accounts receivable activity, ensuring invoices and payments are entered, reviewed, and processed accurately. - Coordinate recurring weekly finance tasks, including scheduled payment workflows and support for payroll-related processing. - Assist with payroll administration for a workforce of roughly 200 employees, helping maintain timely and accurate pay records. - Reconcile daily cash movements by reviewing paid-in and paid-out activity across five physical sites and two ghost kitchen operations. - Compare receipts and supporting documentation against reported cash expenses to identify discrepancies and maintain accuracy. - Keep financial data organized and up to date within QuickBooks Online for reliable reporting and transaction tracking. - Provide administrative assistance for basic HR-related activities, with training available for company-specific processes. - Use Excel to maintain simple reports, track financial data, and support routine accounting follow-up Requirements - Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions is required. - Background in invoice processing and data entry within a high-volume environment. - Payroll exposure is strongly preferred, especially in a setting with a sizable employee population. - Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software is preferred. - Working knowledge of basic Excel tools for tracking, reporting, and record maintenance. - Strong accuracy, organization, and follow-through when handling financial information. - Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, detail-driven role.
