Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey Educational Services Certificate
Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant Endorsement (LDT-C)
Responsibilities:
Conduct Learning Evaluations: Administer and interpret educational assessments to determine students' learning needs.
Develop IEPs: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and update Individualized Education Programs.
Case Management: Serve as the primary contact for assigned students, ensuring compliance with timelines and documentation.
Consultation & Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success.
Compliance Oversight: Ensure all evaluations, reports, and meetings align with state and federal special education regulations.
Support Transition Planning: Assist in planning for students' transitions between grade levels or post-secondary paths.
