Job Description
**About the Role:** As a CBRE Sustainability Manager, you will play a pivotalrole in overseeing the development and executionof sustainability programs. This position is integral to the Sustainabilityfunction, focusing on the implementation of environmental and social sustainability initiatives. **What You'll Do:** + Develop and implement sustainability strategies to meetclient objectives and minimize environmentalimpact + Coordinate and supervise the team's daily activities, ensuring alignment withdepartmental goals + Apply knowledge of sustainability best practices to integrate with global platformsand achieve team objectives + Identify, troubleshoot, and resolveday-to-day and moderately complex issues within existingsystems and processes + Lead the team in enhancing the quality, efficiency, andeffectiveness of sustainability initiatives + Communicate and exchange complex information, set performance expectations,and manage sensitive issues + Influence stakeholders with shared interests to reachconsensus and drive sustainability goals + Collaborate with facility managers to provide expertsustainability advice and support + Monitor and evaluate the effectivenessof sustainability programs, identifyingopportunities for improvement + Develop and present sustainability status and variancereports to clients **What You'll Need:** + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevantexperience in sustainability or a related field + Experience in coordinatingand supervising team activities,with a focus on achieving departmental objectives + Strong problem-solving skills to identifyand resolve moderately complex issues + Ability to communicate complex information effectively andmanage sensitive situations + Proven ability to influence and build consensus amongstakeholders with shared interests In-depth knowledge of sustainability bestpractices and industry standards + Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook + Strong organizationalskills and an inquisitive mindset to drive continuous improvement in sustainability initiatives Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future Equal Employment Opportunity: CBRE is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity.
